Fragrantica - "I got the sample pack of this collection so my review is going to be for all of them. They all have the same base, which is a fluffy marshmallowy vanilla. No matter how hard I try I cannot smell anything other than the drydown of Dua’s Circus of the Sun perfume, which is a “dupe” of the Cirque du Soleil perfume. These do not smell like the drydown of the Cirque du Soleil perfume, in case you wanted a review of the dupe.
Vanilla: Opens really aggressively with a strong, alcoholic vanilla extract smell. Really boring because it’s just vanilla. I’d rather get the Outremer Vanille perfume extract oil for $9 instead of this.
Pistachio: The pistachio isn’t nutty unfortunately. It’s the standard playdoughy pistachio that companies insist on putting in perfumes. This does not smell like Kayali Yum Pistachio or Sol de Janeiro ‘62, so it wouldn’t be redundant in your collection if you have those. It also doesn’t smell like Spinx Crème de Pistache, since it doesn’t have the heavier spices added.
Blueberry: I love this one! I’ve been look for a blueberry perfume and this might be the one I go with. It’s not an artificial blueberry candy smell, but it’s also not a fresh picked greener blueberry smell. I think it compliments the base nicely, and the blueberry lasts for a couple of hours.
Strawberry Rosewater: This kind of smells like a Burberry Her flanker without that medicinal/hospital/bandaid note people hate in BR540, Cloud, and Her. I could see myself getting this when I empty my bottle of Her Elixir. This and the blueberry flankers are probably my favorite of the bunch, just because I’m a berry fiend. The rosewater isn’t that pronounced to me, but it is perceiveable.
Passion Fruit: This seems to be the least favorite out of the bunch, with people trying to offload their bottles on Mercari. I’ve never smelled a perfume with a passion fruit note so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I think it does smell like passion fruit, and the marshmallowy base is actually the strongest in this one. Since the top notes only last about an hour, I could see myself getting this to get to the lovely drydown."
Fragrantica - "Sorce blew me away with this scent! It's one of the best vanilla, sugary, airy scent. It's one of the best scents in my collection. If you like scents like Happy Dust, Tihota, etc, this one will be a LOVE for you.
The meringue smells kind of like marshmallow, but with a little more warmth to it. The chamomile isn't overpowering, and is just there in the background to ground this whimsical scent.
Kaitlyn at Sorce does a phenomenal job. The blueberry & strawberry rosewater variations are dreamy."
Reddit - "Pistachio: Oh my, I love the pistachio here so much!!! It is the same one from A Party or Something, which I also adore. It is the best pistachio ever, super realistic and somehow fuzzy and velvety in both scents; though less fuzzy here. I also enjoy Nui Cobalt's pistachio note, but unlike Nui Cobalt, pistachio is not too nutty or roasted; it is just a pure pistachio. However, the pistachio mellows down too soon for me ? but then it gets meshed with the sweet and creamy vanilla so well and I get pistachio creme for a long time. If you love APOS and you love the ethereal, gentle quality of this collection, I strongly recommend!!
Passionfruit: So I never smelled passionfruit in real life, but I still dare say with confidence this is super realistic like the pistachio! It smells juicy, sweet and tart; very balanced. It feels like a sunlit, whipped passionfruit treat. If you tried and enjoyed Love and Complications but wanted to experience the passionfruit in its full glory, this is for you!
Strawberry and Rosewater: Oh my goodness, this is a huge winner for me! It is THE fairy princess scent! It is pink, feminine, just gorgeous. I have to say, I was really hoping for rosewater prominent scent but this is very much strawberry forward! I believe that the strawberry is closest to the Where the Wild Things Grow 1. But here, those strawberries are ripened and coated with powdered sugar. It doesn't have green to it but, I really feel like rosewater boosts the strawberry from the background to give that dainty fairy princess vibe. It gives a touch of freshness and elegance. Altogether it is sweet but never cloying. It is the best performance I experienced among all.
Blueberry: It is time for the blueberry jam from This is Not a Love Spell to shine! It is exactly that but without all the dry and dusty quality that we get from This is Not a Love Spell. For me, this was straightforward and remained one note, I ended up wishing the blueberry was richer and sweeter, just also stronger overall. (I may be going anosmic to this) This was the faintest one on me. But I am very specific when it comes to blueberries and even more so with strawberries, so I was surprised Strawberry Rosewater worked this well. Thoughts: My favorite here turned out to be Strawberry and Rosewater, unexpectedly!! Then followed by Pistachio, that followed closely by Vanilla. Passionfruit note may not get frequent use from me, but I will surely finish my sample in the summer! The only one that didn't quite workout was blueberry but it was still pleasant and I'd happily finish my sample. Something I'd like to mention as common to all of these scents: they are not the usual rich and strong smelling Sorce edps. They have a really gentle and airy quality to them. They most waft around you like they are part of your ethereal aura. I also never picked up chamomile and any caramelized golden meringue parts! Also they all have a shining gourmand notes but they are never too gourmand, they are done in the Sorce way of elevated gourmands."
Fragrantica - "I bought the discovery set because the notes of the perfume look so airy and dreamy. Surprisingly, the one that smells best on me is the pistachio version! I like pistachio but I'm more fond of fruity, light scents, and was really looking forward to the strawberry rosewater one the most. I make eton messes all the time, and the idea of a perfume with notes so reminiscent of one really sparked my curiosity- who wouldn't want to smell like their favorite dessert? While it was still pretty, the scent was very faint on me compared to the others, and was a little reminiscent of a high quality, natural scented soap to me. The strawberry wasn't juicy and fresh, but more delicate instead. I use freeze dried strawberries often when I bake, and it was the same strawberry smell as that. However I still like how feminine and pretty it is, I guess I was just a little disappointed because it wasn't what I was expecting. The pistachio version is sweet, a little warm, light, and just very yummy. I think it's the most gourmand of the bunch, and the vanilla stands out nicely, almost smelling a bit caramel-like (albeit in a light and airy way). I think the original vanilla version is sweet and light and lovely, it truly does smell like a baked meringue. However, I would probably only buy it to layer as I don't enjoy wearing plain vanilla perfumes anymore. The passionfruit version was the strongest of all of them but I learned passionfruit doesn't smell nice on me, and I haven't worn the blueberry one enough to give a proper opinion."
