SORCELLERIE SHE'S A WITCH REVIEWS
Reddit: Initial Sniff: A warm, biscuity sweet, powdery cookie with a hint of licorice and barely discernable but well blended musk and woody tones. This Sorcellerie scent doesn't have that initial "alcohol"-like opening that most of my other samples have and goes straight into a warm impression of all notes. Drying Down: I find this licorice feel (from the anise seeds) makes it way closer to the foreground with the dry down. It does still feel nicely blended with the cookies so even if you aren't a fan of that note, this blends it in well. The woods and the musk make this feel ever so slightly masculine leaning like a strong lumberjack making cookies in a forest cabin. Whilst the powdered sugar sweetness leans a bit feminine as well. The cookies are very warm, toasty and comforting. A few Hours Later: The anise seed, licorice-esque impression is definitely the most long lasting note on me whilst the rest of the gourmand notes become more subdued over time. The wear time was average whilst there was very minimal projection on me. I felt like I needed to be extra heavy-handed with this one to get an impactful effect.
Reddit: I thought this perfume was a very accurate pizzelle cookie with a tiny side of classic Sorcellerie atmospheric. The sweet anise was well done, and it kind of reminded me of Acqua di Parma's Mandorlo di Sicilia in that way.
