Iceland is a Nordic island nation in the North Atlantic Ocean known as the "Land of Fire and Ice" because of its dramatic contrast of active volcanoes and massive glaciers. It is a stunningly beautiful place to visit and some of their most popular tourist spots are The Golden Circle, Gullfoss Waterfall, Þingvellir National Park, The South Coast, Reynisfjara Black Beach, Skógafoss, The Blue Lagoon and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. They are home to two popular niche brands of perfume - Fischersund and Andrea Maack. This sampler will give you a great example of the scents of Iceland.
You will receive a 1/2ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances in this sampler.
- Fischersund No. 54 EDP - This fragrance pays homage to the perfumer's father's workshop. Described as: Fresh coat of varnish on a wooden shed. Uprooted moss, wet dirt and vetiver roots. Burnt car tires on hot asphalt and dry patchouli. Heavy slow-drying oil painting. Icelandic alpine fir, footsteps in frozen grass and salt liquorice. Dirty leather, animalistic musk and ammonia. No. 54 features top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and varnish; middle notes of mountain pine and spice; and base notes of cedarwood, leather and vetiver.
- History Icelandic Wool EDP – An oriental woody fragrance that launched in 2024. The history of Icelandic wool begins with the arrival of the Norse settlers in the late 9th century and by the medieval period, wool had become one of the cornerstones of the Icelandic economy. The islanders depended on it not only for clothing but also for trade. Icelandic Wool weaves a tale of rugged tranquility. With its crisp, frosted pine top notes and the warm embrace of cozy cashmere at its heart, it's a scent that captures the dichotomy of Iceland's untamed landscapes and the comfort of a snug sweater. With notes of plum, pine, musk, cashmere musk, leather, clove, cinnamon, lavender, caramel, amber and grapefruit.
- Love Olfactive Icelandic Salt EDP - Stand at the edge of the world. Cold spray rising off the North Atlantic, the air so clean it almost stings. Icelandic Salt opens sharp and bracing, a rush of sea mist and ozone carrying the mineral bite of saltwater across the shore. The heart is elemental: glacial air, weathered stone, the briny depth of the ocean itself, vast and quiet and impossibly clear. It dries down into something softer, driftwood smoothed by centuries of tide, a whisper of white musk holding the last of the salt against skin. Stark, beautiful and endlessly cold. It features top notes of sea mist, ozone and Atlantic salt; middle notes of glacial air and weathered stone; and base notes of driftwood, white musk and mineral amber.
