Ginger
I believe that this is a well done fragrance, but my skin picks up the ginger too strongly, so it's not for me. I did pass it on to a friend who sniffed my sample. She loves it! On her it's lovely and close to the description above.
Thorn & Bloom Bird of Paradise is a 2016 Art and Olfaction Award Finalist in the Artisan category.
From the perfumes listing as a finalist: "Vibrant and playful, this fruity floral blend conjures faraway lands of sparkling sunshine, tropical fruits, sumptuous blooms and exotic spices. Candied Ginger is gilded with juicy Citrus, while luscious Champaca and Jasmine impart a soft floral caress. Crystalline pearls of resinous Frankincense shimmer in the midday heat as Salty Ambergris and creamy Sandalwood evoke planks of sun-scortched driftwood floating upon languid waves."
Notes of Ginger, Citrus, Champaca, Jasmine, Frankincense, Sandalwood and Ambergris. A 100% natural perfume, this is long-lasting - a slightly salty white floral.
