It made me squint like looking into the sun
The fragrance is no doubt TF quality. However too strong/ loud for my taste.
Tom Ford Soleil Brulant was released in 2021 as part of the Private Blend line of fragrances. From the manufacturer's description: Soleil Brulant captures the high-shine brilliance of the golden sun beaming on a private oasis. The sunkissed freshness of mandarin and bergamot mingles with the spicy pink peppercorn, giving way to an ornate and regal floral heart while orange flower absolute and a note of radiant black honey release a seductive vapor. The background brings the burnished warmth of decadent amber embellished with resins and woods. An air of vetiver and leather stokes the smokiness of extravagant incense."
Soleil Brulant features notes of bergamot, mandarin, pink pepper, cypriol, orange blossom, black honey, coffee, vetiver, leather, incense, resin, olibanum, leather, vetiver and amber. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Soleil Brulant is a gourmand scent for sure. I really like the lightly burnt sugar/spice vibe in it, perhaps because of wood, honey and leather combined. It is half "brulee" and half "dulce leche" to my nose with just enough creaminess and smokiness to be unisex."
From, Makeup Alley - "Soleil Brulant embodies elegance, warmth and most importantly all the joyfulness of the sun perfectly, and it is exactly the feeling I crave most in spring of 2021!"
Fragrantica - "SB opens with sweet, sunny orange notes, juicy initially but segueing quickly to creamy orange blossom territory. There is a rich, balsamic sweetness in the base, thanks to the honey-amber accord that develops steadily. It complements the orange beautifully; smooth, creamy and well-rounded. There is a spiciness too, briefly curry-like, but it blends in well with the amber accord and adheres to the theme of this scent.
At the drydown stage, it becomes a little salty as the amber becomes more animalic with a slight leather nuance. It becomes musky as it fades, but remains rich and resinous with some orange sweetness remaining until it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate. It feels like the sticky, quiet warmth of the midday sun in a tropical country. A feminine-leaning scent for summer nights, this is not a crowdpleaser, but I find it captivating."
