Guerlain
Nice smell love the vintage stuff
Guerlain Habit Rouge Cologne was launched by the design house of Guerlain in 1965. Habit Rouge means "hunting red," which is an equestrian term. Guerlain Habit Rouge EDC was created by Jean-Paul Guerlain. Many have noted that is is the first oriental cologne created for men. It has been a perennial best-seller for Guerlain since its inception. It is so well made, it is a go-to scent for everything, it is just never wrong.
Guerlain Habit Rouge EDC has notes of citrus, lemon, rosewood, basil, pimento, sandal, carnation, patchouli, cedar, rose, cinnamon, vanilla, amber, moss, leather, benzoin, labdanum, and olibanum
This is the original vintage EDC, eau de cologne which is the first version of this fragrance.
From Persolaise - "It is, to my mind, the most comprehensive, the most multi-faceted and the most thoughtful olfactory representation of masculinity ever poured into a bottle. Its bergamot top – so deliciously sharp – represents energy and vigour. Its leather facet – baked in the auburn heat of some mythical desert – stands for physical prowess and virility. And its powdery vanilla base – always appetising and melodic but never too sticky – is the very definition of sensuousness."
From I Make Scents - "Then, Habit Rouge mellows with the sensuality of orange blossom. Its green, floral note lends a suave character to the oriental composition. At this point, it appears rather dandy. I imagine a gentleman doused with a hesperidic eau de cologne and fashionably sporting a white floral boutonnière on the lapel."
