White Florals are rich, sumptuous and some can be indolic - gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom. Other white floral notes can cool down a big, hot white floral perfume - lily of the valley, magnolia, ylang, lily. Narcissus does as well, but it also can be used to make a white floral a little darker.
White florals are an essential part of a fragrance wardrobe. They needn't be big hair/big sillage perfumes, if that's not your thing. In Asia, jasmine garlands are sold in the streets and often worn in the hair, which is a beautiful way to experience white floral notes in the raw.
This sampler contains great examples of different types of white floral perfumes for the beginner, and I've noted those that are quieter and those that are "bigger' white florals. Your sampler will include a 1/2 ml sample (1 ml sample vial filled half full.)
