Xyrena is a compound of two terms - XY (the male and female chromosomes) and RENA (from the Latin word renascor which means "to be renewed or reborn). It also means “enchanter” in Old Greek. Space Cake is part of Xyrena's Reefer Madness collection and as one of the world's first gourmand cannabis fragrances, it will take you on an olfactory trip to an Amsterdam coffee shop. Perfumer Killian Wells started out much like any baker would by creating a cannabutter base with notes of salted butter, cannabis trimmings, earth, a slight skunk scent, and genuine cedar essential oil for a true confectionery reproduction. The cannabutter accord was then blended with notes of yellow cake batter, baker's yeast, French vanilla and benzoin resin and finally topped with a note of buttercream frosting to form the most out-of-this world gourmand. This is so gorgeous--not sickeningly sweet. Just the right amount!!
