Foret Mythique is a darkly enchanted forest journey - fir balsam, pine, green cedar, oakmoss, black sandalwood, teakwood, vetiver, bay rum and palo santo heartwood. It is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Alkemia: WONDERFUL. Hard to explain what it smells like, but it reminds me of being a child on a rainy day. Beautiful scent.
Alkemia: I LOVE this scent. It reminds me of my grandfather's aftershave in the best way, and on my skin dries down to a wonderfully clean fragrance.
Reddit: Smells like a forest made into a perfume, all towering dark green pines and fir trees, wood and shadows. At the same time it's also distinctly Alkemia. If I were to smell this blind-folded for the first time, I'm sure I would immediately guess its maker. On drydown that deep greenness disappears and Foret Mythique turns more woody, dry, and masculine-- bay rum, perhaps?
Reddit: Slightly sweet and slightly spicy fir and pine scent. Getting more fir than pine. No Pine Sol vibes (You don't know how many pine scents turn into Pine Sol on me!). Has a little bit of a 'dishwater' aura that comes out more at dry down. Hope this goes away after resting because I really like this scent otherwise. A little bit of a 'mainstream cologne' vibe at dry dry down. 3.5/5
