Based on one of Marie Laveau's most legendary formulas for love, protection, and personal success. Includes crossroads jasmine, almond blossoms, white carnations, red roses, Indonesian patchouli, cinnamon, and Bourbon vanilla along with secret ingredients. Laveau is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Fragrantica: "Woa! This is a big strong exotic floral. I immediately detect the carnations, patchouli in bucket loads, red rose and a touch of almond blossom. I can barely make out the cinnamon but yes, there is lots of vanilla at the base of this. This is one for your inner diva. One to wear when you want to be noticed. Big sillage and good longevity. I really like this because I've never smelt anything quite like it anywhere."
Fragrantica: "This perfume is named after Marie Laveau, the high voodoo priestess of New Orleans. It is said to be inspired by her secret recipe for success and protection. I get a lot of vanilla and almond blossom, so much so that it reminds me a lot of the smell of marzipan. I also get orange blossom and some jasmine, along with a hint of carnation. This one is very potent and intoxicating. I like it very much, and it's in my top three scents from Alkemia so far!"
