Pretty Little Poisons is a sexy elixir of stone fruit intoxicants - amaretto, black cherry ratafia, plum brandy, bitter orange, coconut musk, caramelized black figs, Madagascar vanilla, brown sugar and botanical pheromones. It is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Reddit: Stone fruits combined with booze sounds right up my alley, so I had slightly higher expectations for Pretty Little Poisons. This one opens with boozy cherry that quickly transforms into coconut and figs on drydown -- mostly just coconut though, maybe a hint of cherry hiding in there somewhere. The coconut comes accross as dry and I actually like it, but I wasn't expecting its dominance. The booze stays in the background, lending a bit of warmth for the concoction. Strangely, there's something tickling my nose with every sniff and I can't figure out what it is. I think I'm going to hold on to my sample for a little longer to see if there's going to be any changes in the near future.
Reddit: This was definitely a blind buy on my part bc i was mostly excited for kashish and the libertine, but do not sleep on this perfume. It's sweet, but not cloying. It's fruity, but not artificially. There's this hint of darkness that makes this both a sunny day perfume and a rainy day perfume. It is so good.
Etsy: Honestly was intimidated by the scent straight from the bottle, but when it dries down it's so soft and rich! Im layering it with some warm vanilla and coconut scents and I swear I remind myself of Ben and Jerry's cherry garcia! LOL will definitely be wearing this often.
Etsy: Absolute delight sweet seductive fragrance.
