Sea Girl is a sun-kissed summer of beachy ozone and warm skin musk with languidly sensual elements of wild jasmine, sugar cane, double pearl tuberose, hibiscus tea, coconut water, key lime, mandarin, white rum and clean white patchouli. It is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Alkemia: "Very fresh and light, sort of on the lines of sipping a delicious cocktail on a beachfront resort on an island in the Caribbean."
Alkemia: "This scent is so endearing. Sugary but not in a cloying, juvenile way. Citrusy but not in a disinfectant way. Beautifully mixed scent, I sampled this about a month ago and ordered the alcohol free spray/rollerball set a couple weeks later. This is going to be my signature summer scent for sure."
Reddit: "I really hope this doesn’t get discontinued before I have the chance to FS! My favourite out of the order. This is the perfect coconut scent I’ve been looking for. I pick out firstly coconut and tuberose, and then something sweet (sugarcane?) and finally patchouli. The patchouli is a background note for those scared that it might be overpowering. I think it ties the whole thing together and just blends so well with the coconut and white floral. No idea what ozone is supposed to smell like, but I do slightly get sunscreen lotion (in a good way!). The coconut is smooth and nutty—nothing too sweet or overpowering like B&B fragrances. The only downside is that this didn’t last very long on my skin (1-2 hours) but does just fine in my hair and on my clothes. Such a simple yet beautifully blended scent, this is a must try if you like coconut fragrances at all. 5/5 BIG fav Sea Girl my beloved."
Etsy:" IN LOVE! I’ve tried many Alkemia samples; all are so beautifully crafted! I was looking for the perfect skin scent for ages and they have so many options. I Got Sea Girl as a sample and loved that -while certainly floral- it has this lovely warm and prominent (at least to me ) skin musk with a salty ozone quality to it making it the very thing I’ve been searching for. AND can we talk about that it comes in a sizable equally well crafted concentrated spray!? I do generally prefer a spray application for perfume and love that I get the same quality and craft without the alcohol so I can apply this in my hair. Overall very very pleased and I’ll be getting another in this particular applications and packaging soon."
