I was interested in this one because I love Arcana's amber, because this shares the ice cream and lambswool - notes the notes I love most. This turned out to be a coffee amber laced with syrupy caramel, with overtones of milk chocolate, saffron, black pepper, and French vanilla. The sugariness of the caramel combined with the coffee reminds me of Poesie Coffee Goblin, while the rainy-day coffee vibe brings to mind the Sorce Falling Stars variants, particularly the marshmallow one. As it dries, the ice cream comes out, sweet and gourmand-vanillic. I'd definitely agree with the gourmand quality that the notes description names. I'd been hoping for more of the amber and wool; this is too sweet for me but I can see it being a hit for the many gourmand-lovers out there. As always, Arcana does a wonderful amber, and fantastically atmospheric autumnal gourmands."

So many of my favorite notes; coffee, amber, vanilla, dry spices! It’s vaguely reminds me of Poudre Douce, but softer with beautiful vanilla. I really love this one. It will be in heavy rotation."
