Description

Ran is an incensy aquatic fragrance. The merciless goddess of the sea and the drowned dead. Underground caves filled with incense, tendrils of briny seaweed, slivers of amber emerging from salt-soaked earth, ocean-crashed rock and damp blonde woods. Ran is a limited edition eau de parfum, edp.

Arcana Wildcraft perfumes are indie, small batch handmade.

ARCANA WILDCRAFT RAN REVIEWS

Arcana Wildcraft: "Arcana makes the loveliest aquatics and this one is no different."

Reddit: "It starts off as a salt water aquatic with a sweet amber scent blended with it. As it dries, the wood note becomes more prominent."

Reddit:  "Do I like it? Yes. Am I going to keep it? I still haven't figured that out, because it's been in a head-to-head against Crossing for several weeks now. They're not exactly the same - Ran is less leathery, less earthy, and consultants have described it as "spicier". It's a damp, creeping scent; I wasn't sure how the watery elements would play with the incense and the interaction is definitely... novel. It's not "pretty", per se, but it's also not bad or offensive at all. It smells like someone who usually uses a woodstove coming in from the rain, or after being waterlogged by a stray wave."

Reddit: "I’m getting salt water with a dark sweetness which I think is the amber. This is a calm ocean in the middle of the night. As it dries down, I can smell some wood like there’s branches floating in the sea. 4/5"
