Marshmallows are a confection made from sugar, water and gelatin whipped to a soft, spongy consistency, originally inspired by the mallow plant root. A very popular note in perfumes, marshmallow is a sugary, sweet, powdery note. Ethyl Maltol is a compound that smells like cotton candy and strawberry jam and an overdose of this was featured in Mugler's Angel, which, in its prime, started the big gourmand trend we have been enjoying for the past 30 years.

After a few minutes the smoke softens and the moderate sillage will gently waft around you through the length of its wear, smelling like a distant fire on the wind. The marshmallow does become stronger, sweeter and more apparent the longer this wears on the skin.
