Dior Cuir Cannage was launched in 2014, created by Francois Demachy. It took its inspiration from the inside of a leather bag - flowers and leather.
With the rebranding in 2018, some of the fragrances were discontinued. Cuir Cannage was one of those fragrances.
It features notes of leather, orange blossom, rose, jasmine, birch, ylang, cade and iris. Cuir Cannage is a plush unisex leather eau de parfum, edp.
Dior’s luxury fragrance line La Collection Privée has been reimagined for 2018, offering a new way for you to be dressed in Dior. Rebranded as Maison Christian Dior, it goes beyond a collection of fragrances to become a somewhat ritualistic concept; that of perfuming and embellishing spaces and moments in your life. “When I create perfumes I flout technical constraints, schedules, fashions and trends,” Demachy explains of his artistic process. The fragrances in this collection are formed in families of Orientals, Florals, Sensuals, Light Florals and Fruity Florals, non-specific to gender but without being labelled ‘unisex’.
Dior Cuir Cannage Reviews
Fragrantica: "Think of oversized leather chairs and walls of mahogany. It’s sort of the scent of your old school gentleman’s parlor. The florals soften the fragrance and I guess give it a degree of unisexiness, In my opinion though, this skews way more masculine."
Fragrantica: "The leather is undeniable, but balanced perfectly with florals. You will not get a petrol or dirty quality here. Pure class"
