This is a fragrance and an experience. Like many, I'd echo that this starts off as a whisper. Chemistry seems to be at work as it seems too gradually blossom on the skin. At first, it unlocked something in my memory I couldn't quite put my finger on. As a result, I've been smelling my wrist all morning. At two hours in there is an aura of sillage that smells like shower fresh clean skin. There is a bit of fresh paper in a good way, a hint of wood perhaps cedar. Another layer reveals fresh aquatics and the faintest floral. Nothing dominates, it all just seems to emanate collectively. I can also see some fun coming from the laying of this with other scents. No matter your final opinion this is an absolute must try fragrance enthusiasts.

All about that base..molecule. This smells kinda mannish to me. Can't smell on dipstick wand but on skin i noticed a shiny spot and smelled well certain unpleasant memories. Chemistry is everything isn't it? Im sure it's in some of my fave fragrances (Noir Esquis) i love. I will leave a room then come back and can smell someone else. This by itself not for me.5 for sillage ,longevity. 1 for unpleasant smell memory &irritation on wrist. Im glad to try the sample!
This scent is really confusing. I can smell it one minute, then the next my nose can't find it, then I walk and it wafts up from my shirt or my shirtsleeve. To me, so far it smells like a sweet, woody, somewhat lemony scent. It has smelled refreshing and nice and mild throughout the majority of my first day wearing it, but there was one point where I felt that it smelled very earthy in a gross way. I have to see if it was the fragrance, or one of my dogs tooted. I'm going to say it's great because the majority of the day it was nice, but I can't test it again until the weekend where I don't have to worry if it goes into "earthy" territory. So I'll just assume that the off smell was one of my dogs. Lol. Very unusual perfume. It's just Iso E Super, but it does have something. As many others have said in other reviews elsewhere, it's like an aura of a good scent, and less so a scent unto itself.
But its great. Its like an aura of good smell that hovers around you...but you cant really grasp it.
