Come with us to Britain’s rugged coastline, where we discovered the scents of Winter 26. Black tang seaweed clings to the shore - where a lighthouse beams, aglow with honeyed mimosa. It is composed of 21 natural ingredients including top notes of Timut pepper, lemon rind, sweet orange rind and peppermint; middle notes of mimosa, marjoram, cardamom seed, blue gum eucalyptus, violet leaf, clove bud, bergamot rind, basil grand vert and patchouli; and base notes of black tang seaweed, oakmoss, lavender, sandalwood, balsam fir, jasmine sambac, red cedar and vetiver root. It is an organic eau de parfum, edp.
FFERN WINTER 26 REVIEWS
Reddit: "So far I think I really love it. By far the winter fragrances of ffern seem to be my favourite. On my skin winter 26 smells warm but fresh, a bit spicy. If I had to conjure up a imaginary picture it would be a man or a very androgynous person, walking along a stormy beach, tightly wrapped in a Heavy coat to stay warm, occasionally sipping some spiced but unsweetened rum . On the moulette however I smell almost none of the warm spicyness, it's a cold and salty tangy scent, it's more like seaweed washed up on shore, about to be picked up to be dried or smth. There is a subtle hint of that spicy sweetness, but it's way more aquatic on clothes/ paper then it is on skin. I'm definitely going to keep it, and it's a scent that can work awesome for men but also great for women imo. It's a close contender to be my favourite one this year just by how rich and deep it is without being suffocating."
Reddit: "To me it smells like coastal house of a powerful witch somewhere by the Northern Sea. This scent is so fresh, that my nose feels cold after inhaling it from the paper mouilette. Without looking at description I pick up some moss and herbs notes. Unusual, but lovely and very winter-y. Very different from all 2025 Ffern launches! Most “masculine leaning” scent that I had from Ffern (I tried all previous four)."
Reddit: "I can totally see a guy walking into a florist shop to get some pretty flowers beforehand to then walk to his love, who is a lighthouse keeper."
Reddit: "I'm really loving this one so far. The initial fresh/crisp top notes fade through to a lovely balsam fir and seaweed base note on my skin. Balsam Fir concrete is one of my favourite perfume ingredients because it is both raspberry jam and crisp fir notes rolled into one. This blend softens nicely while still hanging on to some lightly marine and floral notes as well."
Reddit: "I received my bottle yesterday. I love it! It smells great on fabric, but is best on my skin. It has the honeyed mimosa, warm woods and herbs and the cool salt air notes. It changes throughout the day, has great staying power and is unlike any perfume I have ever smelled. I have seen some consider it too masculine, but it doesn't do that on my skin at all. It feels feminine, mysterious and has a rugged, beautiful strength underneath. My husband keeps pulling me close to smell my neck and I find myself unconsciously lifting my wrist to my nose throughout the day just to smell it more."
