You will receive a set of six 1/2ml samples from the Fischersund line. Founded in 2017, Fischersund is a family-run perfumery and art collective that harnesses the creative expression of siblings Jónsi (of acclaimed post-rock band Sigur Rós and self-taught nose), Lilja, lngibjörg, Sigurrós, and their partners Sindri and Kjartan. Hand-crafted perfume making is at the brand's core, using high-quality Icelandic oils, hand-poured and sustainably packaged in Iceland. As scent and sound evoke memories, each perfume transports through a harmonious composition of nostalgia, poetry, and music. Jónsi is a visual artist, musician, and self-taught perfumer known for making immersive and meditative sound and sculptural artwork that explore themes of nature and the human condition. He initially gained international recognition as the lead vocalist for the Icelandic experimental rock band Sigur Rós. The brand is housed in an experiential shop in downtown Reykjavik – a creative space in which every object and environment has been designed with care and attention to convey the aesthetic manifesto – to allow the senses to synthesize and harmonize. Fischersund makes fragrances using a high percentage of natural essential oils harvested in the Icelandic wild via the most environmentally friendly solutions and materials for the modern lifestyle. Jónsi is the nose and has a passion for perfumery following a self-taught journey of learning. Fischersund is an Icelandic company.

- No. 8 - Inspired by memories of a childhood growing up in a small village called Mosfellssveit just outside the city. This fresh scent channels the feeling of endless days spent outdoors, riding bikes, and exploring nature with all the freedom of childhood, along with the anticipation of the delivery of baked goods their grandmother would bring weekly. Described as: Scent of brand new sneakers crushing fresh flower stalks against hot asphalt. Mouth full of lemon candy and fingers sticky with motor oil. Stolen rhubarb from a neighbors garden, peeled, slathered in honey and chewed on. Orange cake crumble in the pocket of freshly washed clothes. Arctic wind blowing through hair in a damp pine forest. No. 8 features top notes of rhubarb, grapefruit and petitgrain; middle notes of Sitka spruce and birch leaf; and base notes of balsam fir, amber and asphalt.
- No. 23 - Their inaugural fragrance inspired by Old Reykjavik. Described as: Smoke in the air and tarred telephone poles, tall freshly mowed grass, and tobacco leaves. Dead flowers bow to the ground. In the breeze, the feminine fountain pine tickles the top of your skull. A beached whale is about to explode. It evokes nostalgia and heritage and is rooted in the perfumer's memories of working alongside his father on the big ships that frequented the old harbor. No. 23, captures the essence of oil-stained hands, a feeling of industry and salty ocean air mixed with the aroma of pipe tobacco. It features top notes of bergamot, black pepper and licorice; middle notes of cypress and Siberian fir; and base notes of birch tar, ambergris and patchouli.
- No. 54 – This fragrance pays homage to the perfumer's father's workshop. Described as: Fresh coat of varnish on a wooden shed. Uprooted moss, wet dirt and vetiver roots. Burnt car tires on hot asphalt and dry patchouli. Heavy slow-drying oil painting. Icelandic alpine fir, footsteps in frozen grass and salt liquorice. Dirty leather, animalistic musk and ammonia. No. 54 features top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and varnish; middle notes of mountain pine and spice; and base notes of cedarwood, leather and vetiver.
- No. 101 - Inspired by the unruly yet beautiful backyards of Reykjavik. It captures the essence of Iceland's short yet luminous summers, extended by the perpetual daylight. No. 101 features top notes of blackcurrant and chervil; middle notes of cumin, cypriol and lily; and base notes of limbwood, musk and vanilla.
