Reddit: Initial Thoughts: Very woody and a bit spicy, with some sharp “ozone” notes. I am immediately obsessed with this. It smells like a craft fair held in wintertime in an old wooden building, all candle scents and handmade soaps and knit mittens and worn wood beams and freshly turned wood bowls and winter air and human bodies. Drydown: This doesn’t change at all in the drydown. It is so well-balanced and nostalgic. I almost didn’t get this one because I’ve seen it described as a “your skin but better” scent and that isn’t my vibe. But that’s not what this is AT ALL, to me. This is pure nostalgia, and just the right blend of unisex and masculine to match my winter wardrobe. Rating: Another 10/10! This is an immediate FS for me, I will be making sure I have a big bottle on the way before I finish the sample vial.
Indie Scent Library: This smells like a wool sweater imbued with incense that’s been burning while taking a walk in a winter woods. It approaches dryer sheet territory but is not quite there. Very comforting, with good longevity and quiet throw. A good winter skin scent when you want a refreshing break from gourmands and heavier spice/incense blends.
Indie Scent Library: The woodsy scent combined with incense and outdoor air is just perfect, it really is like an idealized version what you would want your boyfriend’s sweater to smell like, I love it.
Indie Scent Library: This one reminds me somewhat of a basic men’s cologne only muted. I love all of the different wood notes in this. I think that’s what makes this so good. I think this can be considered a unisex scent but it definitely leans more masculine. This would be good to tone down a gourmand that was too sweet. I would not mind at all if my man (and his sweaters) smelled like this…wouldn’t mind it one bit. This is definitely a fall/winter scent although I can see some getting away with wearing this year round.
