HAUS OF GLOI MANGO STICKY RICE REVIEWS

Reddit: Initial Sniff: "The mango leans towards a very very sweet syrupy mango lollipop or other type of candy. The sesame note is there but not quite toasted yet and the coconut is milky and mixed with the rice lending a savoury almost salty note. At times, the combination of all these unique notes creates interest and at other times can register a little soapy and a little like warm skin. Drying Down: The mango is juice and leans warm and ventures farther and farther away from that initial lollipop feeling. It is a sweeter mango like one you would encounter in a tropical environment. The coconut rice is milkier and sweeter overall and the toasted sesame is subtle and adds a hint of coziness and warmth. I don't find this sesame dominant at all with the dry down and would consider Mochi Bread by Fyrinnae much more toasty sesame. A few hours later: The mango is syrupy sweet and dominates the dry down with a light powderiness coming through during the scent's final moments. The coconut, rice and sesame create a cloud for the sweet mango to drift around on and adds a milky, savoury touch so this isn't simply a mango syrup. The longevity and throw is there with the mango note and fades significantly in the coconut, rice and sesame domain respectively."

A Scent a Day: ITI: "Perfumed coconut and sesame give way to the warmth of sweetly simmered rice and mango. Delicious! Wet: Warm, sticky, almost perfumed mango rice made with thick coconut milk.  Yum! This reminds me of sitting next to the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok during the monsoon season, eating Thai desserts perfumed with mango and warm, aromatic rice.  Pending the dry-down, this may be a bottle purchase. Dry: An hour later, the scent has shifted to perfumed, ripe mango laden with coconut and the subtle warmth of simmered rice porridge.  Although I’m not normally a foody perfume, this I love!"

Indie Scent Library: "Oh wow – this smells like something delicious is toasting. Definitely getting sesame with a bit of coconut – like coconut oil, not heavy coconut perfume. The mango comes through slowly, starting as a hint of sweetness. Its savory with some sweet, not a sweet gourmand perfume. Very interesting. The throw isn’t great as an oil though."
