Description

Desert Runway is a woody fragrance created by Olivier Gillotin. Like the desert after a rainstorm. Desert Runway is an elevated santal scent that transports you from the city chaos to the calm and power of a desert island retreat. It freshens with crisp water notes before giving way to the deep and sensual allure of woody and creamy sandalwood. Let this refined cologne wash over you and inspire the start of a new chapter. Desert Runway is a masculine eau de parfum, edp.

HAWTHORNE DESERT RUNWAY REVIEWS

Fragrantica: "I’ve never worn a fragrance that draws compliments so effortlessly. It opens with a nostalgic note that stirs memory, then evolves into a beautifully complex dry down. The scent trails behind you like a signature, bold and lingering. For the price, its performance feels almost unfair. S/o that boy Olivier Gillotin."

Fragrantica: "It begins fresh then slowly becomes woody. It smells really good for me, it's masculine, night, club, sexy perfume."

Fragrantica: "One of my favorite scents from Hawthorne. Previously sold by Hawthorne as "Soft and Airy Sandalwood". I think it's really well suited for a professional setting in cooler months without being too aggressive with spiciness, sweetness, or smokiness. Instead you have a soft opening with the cucumber balanced out with the violet, and the iris and sandalwood that's a touch creamy and a touch dry. It's somewhat similar to a couple other frags I have, "Palo Santo" by Cremo and "Book" by Commodity. Those really lean in to the dryness though and can come across smelling a little pickle-y, which can be offputting. I never get that from "Desert Runway". It smells distinct, and it lasts well into the work day. I always enjoy wearing it."

Fragrantica: "What a beautiful dry down! The opening is fresh (cucumber) and pleasant and after a few hours, the sandalwood and iris remain for hours, about 6 to 8 it is a really different fragrance unlike many in the market today, the vast majority smell generic and boring. This one really captured my senses and became my favorite."
