The rose of Provence, also called "Rosa Centifolia" is an emblematic flower of the Provence region in France. It is known for its intense, long-lasting fragrance and its beautiful, large, colorful flowers. Belle Rencontre en Provence is an intriguing fragrance that is both floral and woody, fresh and warm. It is a feminine floral fragrance that launched in 2023 and features top notes of bergamot, orange and green notes; middle notes of rose, cedarwood, lily of the valley and jasmine; and base notes of vanilla, white musk and gourmand notes. Fragrantica: Rakhat loukoum made of rose in powdered sugar. Later, vanilla appears, similar to Tuscan vanilla. Gorgeous edible rose, which you don't see very often (mostly it's always mixed with either oud or patchouli). Fits perfectly into the fragrance lineup. On hot skin it opened much more beautifully than on the blotter, I suspect that on cold skin it will sound a bit different, more cold, less vanilla. In general - just a fairy tale! For me as a connoisseur of both rose and gourmand - just great.
Fragrantica: It's a beautiful fragrance and noble. The soloing note here is rose. Rose on a fluffy backing of citrusy vanilla and soft musk. And so it goes on for hours. In the base, the volume of the fragrance subsides, and the pretty rose is replaced by cookies on the same backing. Feminine, I would wear it to work, this is the kind of scent everyone would love.
Fragrantica: This vanilla is unusual. The start is rose with notes of cookies and chocolate bar. In the base is a gorgeous woody vanilla. She is the queen here! Very persistent! As a rose lover, I can hear it...but it's with vanilla in the embrace. It's a nice, soft and very cozy scent! The vanilla is gorgeous on the brand! At the same time, it's not cloying. Very nice and natural sweetness! I would call this fragrance Invigorating Vanilla. Juicy, moist, spicy and with floral and citrus tones. Beautiful!!!
Fragrantica: Belle Recontre is a new fragrance from the Continental line. The opening smells nice and fresh and floral because of the orange and rose but then suddenly I smell a sweet note of a vanilla cookie. I really like this smell and gives the fragrance just a touch extra than another rose vanilla fragrance. In the drydown clearly smell a little clean musk and slice of cedar. Am pleasantly surprised by this line.
