Description

like an Egyptian is an amber spicy fragrance that launched in 2023. It is a mystical tribute to the perfumes of yesteryear, revisited with audacity and modernity by Lucien Ferrero. It is a portal between earth and sky, a link between men and gods. It is an invitation to travel through time and space. An olfactory journey that takes us back in an instant to the cradle of perfumery, to the time of the pharaohs. like an Egyptian is an amber spicy fragrance that launched in 2023 and features top notes of black pepper and pink pepper; middle notes of cypriol oil (nagarmotha), oud and Amber Xtreme; and base notes of sandalwood, labdanum, amber, Ambrocenide and vetiver. It is an eau de parfum, edp.

MILLER ET BERTAUX LIKE AN EGYPTIAN REVIEWS

Fragrantica: This is one of the few fragrance brands that has a truly unique DNA in my opinion. In the past years I have owned several of their fragrances and sampled all, but my latest is ‘like an Egyptian…’. A very powerful fragrance that smells like bottled rays of burning sun, dark green foliage in the shadows and mysterious flowers that bloom during the night. This fragrance is pure poetry.

Fragrantica: Really nice. It gives me the idea of a Black Oliphant (with due proportion) but much more "polite". Warm, spicy, lingering It makes itself felt. For those who like something stronger, without overdoing it, it is perfect. Put on clothes it lasts all day, on the scarf it is a continuous personal pleasure. 100% value for money!

Fragrantica: All the flavors of Miller et Bertaux are quite unusual, but this one was particularly surprising. And not immediately, in the store it seemed just smoky, something rancid wood...at home I listened to the blotter and it turned out that the Egyptians had burnt some lemon wood apparently. His base is very unusual. In general, there is something to learn and something to wonder!

Fragrantica: Unambiguously masculine. Ladies can only use it for mind-jumping olfactory experiments. The man you meet before landing on the land of the pharaohs is on a scientific quest. He is dressed in a comfortable beige colored shirt and pants, leather high boots and carries a shoulder bag. So, he has applied the "pepper" from Zelinsky and Rosen to himself and offers you to keep him company. The pepper here is quite tart all the way through the sound. And then on the way up to the pyramids, his back ached. He pulled it when he carried you over the pit. You went into the old Oriental doctor's office. Who opened all the jars and created a salve for the case. (First spritz). And then pepper combined with axe oud (especially for those who like to hear bandages and iodine in it), and a tinkling green, seaweed-like sedge sounded on top. Your man fainted from the aromas, actually just like you. After 30 minutes, breathing became possible. You went inside the pyramid, where you found a half-opened sarcophagus with a mummy quite by accident. And so you looked in there. The unique combination of Zelinsky applied in the morning, the miracle of the Ointment with green, tingling, almost citrusy grass and the deep oud in the cloud of ambergris and synthetic molecules that emanates from the mummy. It's the kind of thing you can't forget.....The thin line between disgust and attraction. After 1.5-2 hours, you are back at the hotel. The hotel is old, almost all wood. It's night over Egypt, it's gotten cold. You snuggle into a man's chest and smoke a hookah together on a Nakhla overpak. The aroma from his chest has become exuberantly animalistic. Shocking at first, then opens up and plays from lemon, herbal notes and papyrus to synthetic amber.
