Description

Lady Tubereuse is an Oriental floral fragrance that launched in 2020. It features top notes of tuberose, fruity notes and ginger; middle notes of lily, ylang-ylang and angelica roots; and base notes of vanilla, resins, amber, vetiver, cedarwood, tonka bean and white musk. An intense, provocative and hypnotic fragrance, inspired by the most enigmatic femme fatale in history. The nocturnal and carnal nectar of a prohibited flower, impossible to forget. It blossoms after sunset and its obsessive scent dwells in rooms and lingers on heavy velvet curtains. Mata Hari, scantily dressed, dances in the moonlight, performing languid exotic moves with calculated lust. Her dark eyes have the depth of the ocean’s abysses. Her body undulates with infinite grace between the floating veils and the inebriating scents of her perfumes. Sultry gazes. An intense Tuberose is given off by her amber skin and her mass of black hair. It tells of secret loves and unconfessable desires, and sweeps us off afar, towards a magnetic and mysterious Orient, which cannot be reached by the eyes. It remains even after she leaves, leaving behind her a trail of mystery and voluptuousness. Lady Tubereuse is an eau de parfum, edp.

MORESQUE THE SECRET COLLECTION LADY TUBEREUSE REVIEWS

Fragrantica: "Tuberose is a tricky note for me and sometimes makes me nauseous but this one is so warm, ambery, and smooth. Juicy fruits lingering in the background but tuberose and warm golden amber are the stars to me. The tuberose is not bubblegummy or green but it’s seductive and creamy."

Fragrantica: "Lily, tuberose, cedar and vetiver. Now I understand the name... it isn't the tuberose which is referred to as a Lady, it is the woman who wears this. Lady Tuberose suits a classic, maybe a bit boring outfit, clean, sharp cut, modest, serious, almost business like. If you like tuberose but don't want to choke people out, or you need a safe tuberose for work, this is good. I personally prefer my tuberose more bubblegum and fun (Carthusia Tuberosa), and creamy (BDK Tubereuse) but this leans more to the dry Carnal Flower side. It is a little more on the tame side, and isn't sweet although I do get a luxurious soft vanilla dry down."

Fragrantica: "Beautiful amber-forward fruity floral; buttery tuberose coupled with honeyed fruits and an almost powdery ginger, gets warmer and spicier as the lily and ylang emerge, but the sweetness of the scent remains as a warm vanilla-tonka emerges as it dries down. Projects strongly goes all around the body, leaves a trail and then some. I think this can be worn all year round, it's perfect."

Fragrantica: "At first this was a hate, maybe for like the first 10 minutes as I was trying to comprehend what I was smelling. But now that’s it’s dried down and I’ve done some more research on it, I have a better understanding of this fragrance. Imagine walking through a dense tropical forest at night with tropical flowers everywhere, it’s warm but still slightly cool, the flowers are radiating from the breeze and warmth, these flowers are deep and warm, not bright and airy. Giving a vibe of vanilla/amber coziness. I think that mid November is probably not the best time to test a fragrance like this, but you best believe on a warm summer evening or cool spring day I will be wearing this. It smells like warm seductive tropical vacation, the tuberose is done very lightly so not to be too cloying. I suggest trying this during spring & summer, maybe even early fall. I’d give this fragrance a 7/10."
