Myrrh is a resin grown in Arabia and parts of Africa. It has been valuable through history for trade, and it was one of the gifts the Magi brought to Jesus, along with Frankincense and Gold. Myrrh has been used for annointing of the dead in many cultures and burned on incense altars as well.
