You will receive a set of six 1/2ml samples from the Pigmentarium The Secret Garden line of fragrances. The first Czech independent perfume house made its debut in Prague in the autumn of 2018 with the Ad Libitum fragrance. Brand creation is strongly influenced by the outlook of the young generation on the fundamental artistic direction and lifestyle of the Czech Republic in the first half of the twentieth century. Functionalism, modernity, and avant-garde are interpreted by scents and contemporary means of expression. Their perfumes are characterized by the highest quality of essences and high concentrations. You will receive a 1/2ml sample (a perfume vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances below:
- Ad Libitum - The perfume that launched the Pigmentarium brand. It is a contemporary take on one of the biggest trends of the first half of the twentieth century, the so-called “Chypre” fragrance, which took over Europe a hundred years ago. It was inspired by the functionalist architecture of Prague in the 1920s, as seen by the famous architects Le Corbusier and Loos. Top-rated by the world's olfactory experts and media. With top notes of tangerine, bergamot and aldehydes; middle notes of cedarwood, jasmine and neroli; and base notes of oakmoss, musk and patchouli.
- Paradiso - An energetic, slightly tart and citrusy fragrance inspired by the carefree summer on the Côte d'Azur. The sparkling pool water, the shade of the pine trees and a dewy glass of gin. A good mood-inducing perfume, evoking a jump into crystal clear water, the scent of exotic woods and refreshing, delicately bitter fruit. With top notes of grapefruit, tangerine and rhubarb; middle notes of juniper berries and pepper; and base notes of vetiver and patchouli.
- Genesis - A fragrance as refreshing as a deep breath of air in the shade of a green garden. Inspired by summer mornings under the massive treetops, by plucking the green plants, and by the distant sea surf. The meditative and delicate green fragrance was created as a counterpoint to the hot city sun. Its composition deliberately avoids citrus (as some clients do), but its presence evokes its freshness. With top notes of laurel and aldehydes; middle notes of verbena, lily of the valley and apple; and base notes of fig leaves, rosewood, musk and ambergris.
- Erotikon - A captivating gourmand fragrance, inspired by the famous (and in its time scandalous) film Erotikon by Czech director Gustav Machatý on the theme of rresistible attraction. A perfume with a beautiful development, great longevity, and perfectly matched to the outfit. Its character varies according to the wearer. With top notes of chocolate, ginger and pink pepper; middle notes of vanilla and tonka bean; and base notes of ambergris, musk, patchouli and sandalwood.
- Murmur - The most distinctive of the brand's fragrances. Opulent and expressive since the first whiff, it was inspired by late-night, whispered words and the contrast of elegance and animalism. An eccentric perfume with an oriental accent and an animalic touch. It is characterized by its linear concept. It is a favorite fragrance of the fashion community for its unchanging character and high silage and longevity. With a top note of ambergris; middle notes of patchouli and rose; and base notes of civet; agarwood, musk and sandalwood.
- Oratorio- An olfactory work that was created on real and imaginary journeys between Prague and Paris. The perfume drawing contrast between the dynamics of the city, where the day already belongs to tomorrow, and the space of the old church, under whose vaults time has stopped. The contrast of two moments that can be connected in one moment. The moment of becoming present. With top notes of tangerine and neroli; middle notes of frankincense, cedarwood, Atlas cedarwood and jasmine; and base notes of ambergris, patchouli and opoponax.
