Rich Ghost is an amber, spicy and woody fragrance. It feels like leaving a wake of admirers whenever you pass by. A bright note of citrus at the top, then the tiniest hint of jasmine, followed by a warm, luxurious drydown. Poesie's ghost accord will leave you shaking not because it’s spooky, but because it contains a high percentage of heavy natural resins. With notes of Iso E Super, ruby red grapefruit, rich sandalwood, golden threads of saffron, a hint of jasmine perfume, grey musk, warm amber and marshmallow. Rich Ghost is a water perfume.
POESIE RICH GHOST REVIEWS (Based on reviews of the oil version)
Reddit: My thoughts: I was really worried about this scent because I’ve only tried Iso E Super once before, in Alkemia’s Enigma, and it was terrible on me. I wanted to try it though because I love the scent of grapefruit. When I first applied this and it smelled like grapefruit and sandalwood, I was so happy. This is a great scent. I would describe it as a complex grapefruit scent. The sandalwood gives the citrus scent some depth. For me, these are the dominant scents and I don’t notice much of anything else. I can’t detect jasmine, amber, or the marshmallow note individually, but it’s possible that they are simply adding to the overall scent. As it dries down, it settles into a bright wood scent. The grapefruit isn’t as obviously identifiable. The scent as a whole feels really masculine to me, which makes me wonder when I would ever really wear it since I prefer more feminine scents usually. However, I enjoy this scent, and I don’t think I’d mind wearing it even if I can’t think of when I’d wear it. Rating: 4/5. Because this is a masculine complex grapefruit and sandalwood scent. Who is this? A handsome man with a cheerful smile who is everyone’s friend.
Reddit: Rich, warm, luxurious, with a freshness from the grapefruit and sweet marshmallow. It reminds me of library ghost but ~fancy~ and more complex. I find it hard to pick out most of the notes but this is really very lovely. People of any gender should wear this to smell like the world’s most expensive marshmallow.
Fragrantica: I think the grapefruit note is missing from the notes/accords and that's a shame! This is a juicy, sexy, somehow serious fragrance that uplifts the grapefruit note into the stratosphere. Very compelling and unique. I was afraid that the marshmallow note would be overly sweet or childish, but it is far from that. I can't get enough of this!
Poesie: Definitely the star of this collection in my opinion. In the bottle and upon application, the grapefruit stands out (a beautiful, juicy grapefruit note), speaking as someone who doesn't typically like citrus), but it dries down to something subtle and elegant. I adore the saffron and amber in this.
Poesie: This is for bougie ghosts. It opens brightly with the citrus but dries down quickly to a creamy floral amber. Amazingly good. Very versatile.
Poesie: Based on the notes, I would never have tried this perfume, but I got it as a sample with another order and I adore it. It's not sickly sweet or floral or bitter; it's extremely well balanced. It's juicy and serious and sexy and I can't get enough. This is permanent collection worthy, Poesie Gods!
