Yippee Ki-Yay used Jake Goss, an American drummer, best known as a member of the rock band LANY, as the muse for this fragrance. This urban cowboy-inspired scent embodies the drummer. Yippee Ki-Yay is just how it sounds: a rollicking holler of a fragrance where traditionally masculine notes of leather, tobacco, and whiskey get lassoed up with the fresh-suede cool of iris and delicate, dewy rose, while sandalwood and amber give the scent an overall warmth, like a sunset in the dry desert. It’s the new era for the urban cowboy, still a little bit of dirt under the fingernails but cleaned up enough for a long night out on the town.
Yippee Ki-Yay features top notes of iris and rose; middle notes of sandalwood, amber and whiskey; and base notes of tobacco, leather and labdanum. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Jake Goss: A cowboy has guts. being confident in your own skin. letting hard work and family be the driving force. my grandad is the ultimate cowboy. wakes up at the crack of dawn, goes to hardees for his coffee, reads his bible, brings home something for his wife, straps on his boots, takes care of his horses, takes care of his community and doesn’t complain a wink. When I wear Yippee Ki-Yay i feel tougher than i really am. i feel as though i magically found the tools and confidence to build a house with my bare hands. this scent makes you stand a little taller and walk with a bit more swagger. kinda like you are trading places with mike rowe of dirty jobs for the day. no matter the job at hand, it’s nice to have yippee ki-yay on deck. also, feels like something brad pitt has tucked in his motorcycle seat.
