Master of Fright is part of Sixteen92's Legacy Collection. It was originally released as part of the Holiday 2016 limited edition set It's Ours This Time. This is the first time it has been offered during Legacy, by request. It is a dark, woody, spicy fragrance with notes of pale bone musk, tobacco, blackened sandalwood, warm spices, pumpkin flesh, petrichor and melted snow. Master of Fright is a parfum.
Sixteen92 produces small-batch fine fragrance inspired by history, literature, lore and magic.
Reddit: "This is the only one of these four that I still have, and I really like it. It smells a little spiced apple-y, a little pumpkin-y, and those notes are nicely tempered with earthy notes that smell like fresh dirt and tobacco. Once this dries down, it mostly smells of tobacco and a light musk to me. Other Sixteen92 scents that are similar to this (to my nose) are Last Exit for the Lost and The Bell Witch, but I found this one to be the most complex of the three."
Indie Scent Library: "Mostly fuzzy sandalwood with some vegetal pumpkin and understated spices. It’s more unisex and laid-back than pumpkin spice scents, with a sort of atmospheric element to it, though still quite ‘warm’ smelling from the spiced sandalwood."
Indie Scent Library: "Wonderful, masculine perfume. On me, I smell the musk, spices, and petrichor. My husband’s chemistry amplifies the pumpkin flesh, musk, and sandalwood. A winner."
Indie Scent Library: "This scent leans more masculine than I usually wear. There is a sharp cinnamon note upon initial application that mellows over time. The pumpkin flesh is fresh and realistic. I don’t wear this often but it’s nice to have around when I’m in the mood to feel confident and sexy."
