Estate Citrus Grove opens with top notes of sweet orange and pink grapefruit paired with fresh orange blossoms that quickly give way to sweet tea with a squeeze of lemon. Subtle wafts of honeysuckle come in next, along with the signature scent of Estate Vanilla. A warm base of Estate Vanilla and restrained notes of saffron, ancient Yakusugi wood, golden amber, vetiver, light spice and smooth aged patchouli cradles the orange blossom absolute. A subtle hint of saltwater in the drydown signifies the distant coast. It is sweet, citrusy, floral, warm and delicately earthy with the faintest trace of Florida's salty coastal wind. Estate Citrus Grove features notes of orange, grapefruit, orange blossom, sweet tea with lemon, Estate Vanilla, honeysuckle, saffron, yakusugi wood, amber, patchouli and distant coastal wind.
Created by Angela St. John as part of a collection of fragrances based on the fictional town of Foxcroft, Maine. Estate Citrus Grove is an eau de parfum, edp.
SOLSTICE SCENTS ESTATE CITRUS GROVE REVIEWS
Fragrantica: Yesterday and today I'm wearing the new Estate Citrus Grove from Solstice Scents, and unfortunately I think I'm obsessed with it. The opening is kind of strange and I don't know how I feel about it. Normally I don't need to rest alcohol-based fragrances more than a day, and I've had this for a few days so I'm guessing the opening is just... the opening, which is a little generic body spray/citrus house cleaner on me, but the dry down???? Truly one of the best things I've ever had on my body. The cleaner thing mostly dissipates on my skin after 15-30 minutes. I think I get a bit of the tea in the next stage, which can't be more than an hour and what unfurls afterwards is a warm, ambery orange blossom, subtle saffron and a rich base of Estate Vanilla and it stays that way for hours. Six hours in it is deep and sweet ambery vanilla, touched with the heady memory of citrus blossoms and its absolutely enchanting.
Fragrantica: On me it was a very sweet citrus, with an almost cola note? I got some of the earthy notes too but it was much more richly sweet than I expected.
Fragrantica: The blend of orange blossoms, citrus, and ozone reminds me of late afternoon drives I used to take with my sister along the Indian River during orange blossom season. One of my most cherished memories, and the reason I went FB without even sampling first.
