The perfumer notes for Sorcellerie Strings of Light in the Forest Extrait  -

"This warm and ethereal scent replicates the visual and olfactory experience of strings of light in the trees, with the playful addition of a vanilla milkshake note. Beeswax absolute is the star of the show, softened with Ambroxan, sweetened with vanilla milkshake, and made aromatic with lavender maillette and a very clean, light vetiver from Haiti."

It is an extrait de parfum.

Reviews of Sorcellerie Strings of Light in the Forest Extrait

Reddit - "it's rich, earthy, sweet in a natural molasses--yy brown sugar syrup kind of way. I think the milkshake vanilla note tied with the vetiver makes it feel cloudy and fluffy and dark. It's almost heady like how a dark rich amber comes to the nose. It's a scent that is complex, medium sweet, and not an airy scent. It's floaty, but not a scent that's girly and preppy. It's witchy and really does transport me to a forest with lights floating through the trees-- like a hazy feeling. It's thick and rich and the lavender adds a soft purple ness to it that doesn't scream "grandma" at all whatsoever. It reminds me of Lushs' Twilight kind of lavender where mixed with tonka it's rich and sweeter while still being soft and cuddly. It's not animalic (I think people find the vetiver fuzziness to come off as furry, but to me it's just dark and creamy, not animalic. Its a true gothic scent to me) To me, SoL is the scent that makes me feel grounded, comforted, mysterious and cozy. Its a smell that isn't linear and it's complex. It's definitely worth a try for me, if you like the witchy flower girl vibe. I only have a sample of the oil, and I'm fullsizing it tomorrow. The oil is a rich amber colour. I plan on trying a sample of the EDP to see the difference."

Reddit - "Strings is not particularly sweet to me, it’s an interesting musky, almost animalic beeswax and herbal with the vanilla tying everything together. "
