The perfumer notes for Sorcellerie The Bees are Flying - The Taste the Spring -

"The bees are flying.  They taste the spring." Named after the final lines of Sylvia Plath's poem "Wintering," this scent is a bee's dream of spring. Representative of hope in a time of survival, we will be donating 5% of sales to Time Out Youth, a Charlotte-based nonprofit that provides community and needed services for our LGBTQ+ youth.

The Bees opens with a bright, realistic honey aroma created with a natural honey extraction, paired with jasmine and mimosa absolutes, petrichor, and a fuzzy note of pollen. As the fragrance wears on the skin, the lingering honey aroma begins to swirl with creamy iris, fresh cream and aromatic myrrh to create a cozy, your-skin-but-better scent."

It is an extrait de parfum.

Reviews of Sorcellerie The Bees are Flying - They Taste the Spring Extrait

Reddit - "It is this rich, honey floral with an air of springtime. It’s the bees buzzing at your screen door. The notes are honey, cream, iris and myrrh and they blend together in this absolutely beautiful scent that I could wear everyday forever. It rocketed to the top spot in my most loved, most worn scents. If you love honey and you love indies, you need this scent."

Reddit - "I was not a honey person and destashed all the scents I tried with honey notes. And then I met The Bees. I am a little obsessed. It’s honey but like a wearable, accessible honey. Even if you typically don’t like honey, I definitely recommend trying this!"

Reddit - "I tested The Bees just because of your post and I LOVE it. I agree with others that it has that chamomile tea + honey vibe, while simultaneously being creamy. It hits right at the balance of gourmand and not-quite-literal-food that I prefer for sweet scents."

Reddit: "I was gifted a bottle of The Bees and it is the perfect summery joy on these wintry days. It’s honey swirled with sweet cream and wildflowers. It wears beautifully and is so comforting. It also lasts for ages! Between this and Venus en Fleurs I may have my new favorite house."

Reddit: "My god this scent is heavenly. Sorce gifted me a bottle when I was going through some heavy stuff and this was the comfort I needed. It is this rich, honey floral with an air of springtime. Reddit: "Yeah, this is honey made from jasmine flowers, for sure. Raw honey straight from the farm (are bees kept on farms?), more pungent than sweet, almost animalic, and a heavy indolic dose of jasmine. As opposed to the other jasmine notes in this collection, I wouldn’t recommend it to those who aren’t already big fans of jasmine. I would compare this to Fantome’s Luna de Miele (another honey-and-jasmine fragrance) but taken up a few notches. There’s woods, sweet cream, and something earthy, like not-quite-wet, not-quite-dry soil, in the dry down."
