Description

Strangers Parfumerie is a Thai perfume house that was founded by Prin Lomros in 2017 and inspired by his favorite memories, films and music. It is an experimental brand that offers uniquely composed, surprising scents that are both delightfully creative and supremely wearable. As well as being a trained perfumer, Lomros also teaches film making in a university in Bangkok. In addition to Strangers Parfumerie, he also launched Pryn Parfum (2016) and Parfum Prissana (2017) and created Bat and Sloth for Zoologist Perfumes. His perfumes are reflections of beautiful landscapes, dramatic stories and romantic characters.

Created in 2022 by Prin LomrosLimonsitano is a captivating fragrance that embodies the essence of the Sorrento Peninsula, the birthplace of the famous lemon liquor, Limoncello. Inspired by the stunning landscape of Positano and the Amalfi Coast, this perfume captures the natural diversity of citrus, herbs, and fruits found in the Mediterranean region. The story behind the perfume is also based on two scenes from the movie “Under The Tuscan Sun” One is the first time Marcello takes Frances to his house in Positano where she tastes Limoncello for the first time. And the second scene is when Frances visits Positano alone to surprise her lover.

It opens with the invigorating and refreshing aroma of Limoncello, a zesty and tangy lemon liqueur. The vibrant notes of citrus fruits, including grapefruit, bergamot and citron, create a bright and sunny ambience. As the fragrance develops, it reveals a subtle herbaceous quality with hints of mint, tomato leaf, thyme, rosemary, and sage. These Mediterranean herbs evoke the aromatic scents that permeate the air along the Amalfi Coast, blending harmoniously with the citrus notes to create a refreshing and vibrant accord. The salty sea breeze that characterizes the coastal regions is captured by the inclusion of seaweed and driftwood notes. These elements add a touch of marine freshness and create a sense of being by the ocean waves at sunset in Positano. Completing the olfactory journey are the delicate and enchanting scents of neroli, rose, and myrtle, which add a touch of floral elegance and sophistication. The fragrance is anchored by earthy and woody notes of patchouli and basil, which provide depth and longevity to the composition. Limonsitano is a tribute to the beauty and allure of the Sorrento Peninsula, encapsulating the unique combination of Mediterranean citrus, herbs, and fruits. With every spray, it invites you to experience the magic and romance of Positano and the Amalfi Coast, while enjoying the sunset and savouring a glass of Limoncello. Feels as though you are watching the ocean waves at sunset in Positano with a glass of Limoncello. Limonsitano features notes of Limoncello, mint, tomato leaf, neroli, seaweed, thyme, grapefruit, bergamot, rose, citron, quince, pittosporum, myrtle, ambrette seed, driftwood, sage, rosemary, patchouli, basil and green apple. It is an eau de parfum, edp.

STRANGERS PARFUMERIE LIMONSITANO REVIEWS

Fragrantica: "I have a sample from Bloom in Covent Garden (love that place) and for me, I'm hooked. The initial hit is just gorgeous, but as Ambergrush observed, it does die down quickly to a very pleasant green tonic. I'm really enjoying it. No single scent is yelling for attention but instead it sings calmly like a well balanced Mediterranean choir, accompanying me about my day and settling me to sleep without intrusion. Personally, I love it, and shall be adding it to my list of must haves. I think it is late Spring, through Summer to mid Autumn, while the sun is still knocking around and you're smiling quietly to yourself reminiscing about the mischief you got up to on holiday. It doesn't squeal with excitement, nor does it seduce your lover, but it does feel so serene and pleasing and content, with a little nod towards romance, that it absolutely has a place in my heart."
