Tada is a Thai fragrance house with perfumes made in collaboration with perfumers Tada Archawong and Prin Lomros. Named after the traditional term for the month of February in Japan, Kisaragi draws inspiration from the quiet beauty of Takayama in Gifu Prefecture, a place where the ancient charm of the town meets the crisp, cool air of the mountains. This scent captures the essence of hinoki (Japanese cypress), with its woody, grounding qualities, combined with the refreshing, almost ethereal freshness of mountain air accord. The weather during he perfumer's visit—a light, drizzling rain in late February—left the air heavy with moisture, infusing the aged wooden buildings with a unique aroma. This combination of dampness, the ancient wood and the lingering coolness of winter transitions beautifully into the budding warmth of spring.
Kisaragi reflects this seasonal shift, with a woody and chypre profile that evokes both the rich history of Takayama and the fleeting, gentle passage between seasons. It features top notes of mountain air, bergamot and hinoki; middle notes of hay, pine and lavender; and base notes of sandalwood, oakmoss, frankincense and amber. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
