Tada is a Thai fragrance house with perfumes made in collaboration with perfumers Tada Archawong and Prin Lomros. Semi-Shigure translates to the sound of cicadas singing in unison, almost like the sound of rain. This sound marks the arrival of summer in Japan. The refreshing zest of yuzu blends harmoniously with the green and fresh notes of Uji matcha accord, which hides a subtle, savory undertone. The composition exudes a sense of calm and relaxation, yet within it lies an elusive essence that is difficult to grasp—much like the tranquility that resides beneath the evening chorus of crickets in the summer. Semi-Shigure features top notes of yuzu, mint and chamomile; middle notes of Uji matcha, jasmine and orris; and base notes of milk, mate absolute and cedarwood. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
