Tom Ford Cherry Smoke was released in 2022 as part of the Private Blend line of fragrances. A unisex amber spicy, it has notes of dark cherry accord, saffron, osmanthus, leather, smoke, nagarmotha (cypriol) and smoky woods.
From the brand - "An experienced hedonist, Cherry Smoke plays with fire, bursting with the scent of dark cherry, ignited by seductive osmanthus and smoldering, smoked woods. Cherry Smoke opens with the exquisite scent of Dark Cherry flavor ScentTrek®, enhanced by exotic saffron notes. The fragrant white flowers of osmanthus exude facets of apricot, olive and leather – while a precious smoked wood accord tantalizes with heated vibrancy and a simmering, blazing pull."
Tom Ford - "Cherry Smoke captures the darker side of the Cherry experience - hedonistic and smoldering."
Fragrantica - "I've been wearing this off n on since Nov. I like it alot more then Lost Cherry. For me it's more Masculine but just not so normal..I like the smokiness and the rougher edges it's more Tom Ford..I also have the new Sloliel de feu that's really gonna be a summer stunner. It's like coconut with some buttery yellow florals."
Fragrantica - "The leather, smoke and wood usurps the cherry note and as such, this is a significant departure from Lost Cherry. Imagine something like Ombre Leather sprayed over Lost Cherry, basically."
Fragrantica - "The leather and cherry opening is super dark and sexy. The dry down is similar to the coarse smokiness of Ebene Fume but with a punch of cherry over the top. It's my favourite out of the 3. Id never be as bold as to compare it to the perfection that is Plum Japonais, but it has a similar vibe despite being an entirely different scent."
Fragrantica - "My GOD, this is stunning. So luxurious and the cherry here is much deeper and richer than Lost Cherry. It’s not as "smokey" as I imagined it would be, but the woods and leather give this weight and complexity. The performance is also better than LC, which is a huge bonus. Instant buy for me."
