Pomme D'Amour has stepped in to fill those shoes and I hope it becomes a permanent addition. The perfume is true to its name, it has a sweet juicy red apple note that is prominent, though on dry-down it settles into a softer and more subdued jammy smell that is complimented by the vanilla and musk. Might be too sweet for some, especially within the first few minutes, but it is what I'm looking for."

I can still smell it an hour later so I know it's pretty long lasting. It's a fresh sweet apple fragarance, not cinnamony nor cloying. This is one of the best Apple fragrance notes I've sampled.
