The fragrances in this sampler are all associated with graveyards or cemeteries. There is a word for the love of graveyard or cemeteries (Coimetrophilia) and I have always visited them on my travels. Besides the beauty of graves, headstones, masoleums, etc., it is extremely interesting to see how other countries and cultures bury and honor their dead. These fragrances focus on the ground of the graveyard/cemetery so these are fragrances with notes of overturned dirt, moss, patchouli, rain, grass, stones, fading florals, etc.
You will receive a 1/2ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances in this sampler.
- Black Baccara Cemetery Moss Perfume Oil - A beautifully complex earthy blend which captures an overgrown cemetery filled with ancient stones flocked with thick, green, velvety moss. Faint wisps of tobacco smoke, ghosts of amber, and quick flashes of myrrh reveal themselves on the dry down of this hauntingly earthy green blend. This blend is built on a beautifully earthy petrichor and as this blend goes through its phases, the green notes reveal themselves alongside subtle mysterious wafts of smoke, amber and tobacco. This deep, earthy brew encapsulates the beautifully timeless haunt of a cemetery in the autumn months. With notes of green moss, vintage amber, tobacco smoke, petrichor, myrrh and rain-misted grass.
- The Parlor Company Cemetery EDT - A damp stroll through a foggy graveyard with somber notes of rain-soaked petals, wild ivy and meadow grass.
- Paranormal Perfumes Midnight in the Graveyard Perfume Oil - A hauntingly beautiful scent reminiscent of the space where the deceased are laid to rest. Antiquated cemeteries in the fog. Delicately carved headstones and wistful reminders of loved ones. With notes of damp dirt and mossy headstones, white funeral lilies, dark patchouli and cool rain and fog.
- Weirdo Perfumes Graveyard Perfume Oil – You walk through the flowers, enjoying the delicate smell of roses. At first, you didn't see the gravestones. How could you? This graveyard had clearly been abandoned for a very long time. The knee high grass and wildflowers covered most of the crumbling stones. It's peaceful here, serene. You wouldn't mind staying a while. With notes of soil, heliotrope, rose and rain.
- PULP Fragrance Eagle Hill Cemetery Perfume Oil - An ivy-covered mausoleum, old paving stones, cool damp soil, a creaky iron gate, faded bouquets and the spark of a match freshly-lit to see your way. A highly atmospheric scent evoking an evening spent in a dewy, cool graveyard. Fading, faint blooms of jasmine and lily adorn a mausoleum in the distance. Inspired by the misty cemetery locale in Dark Shadows, the campy supernatural soap opera from the 1960's.
- Paranormal Perfumes Graveyard Perfume Oil - This morbidly beautiful creation was inspired by the solemn peace that many feel when in a place where the deceased are laid to rest. The main inspiration behind this fragrance was to take the wearer through a "funeral-like" story. Base notes of graveyard dirt, moss and rain create an eerie, earthy, and dark experience - laying the deceased to rest. Middle notes of funeral lily add timeless, floral and soft notes reminiscent of the dearly departed. Top notes of patchouli create a haunting essence. The perfect combination for walking through eerie cemeteries. Graveyard is a dark, earthy floral with notes of graveyard dirt, moss, rain, funeral lily and patchouli.
