best perfumes 2017 January

Week ending January 8, 2017, best-selling perfumes at STC:

  1. Tom Ford Private Blend Tobacco Vanille - always gonna be in the top five.  The world will have to end before this ever drops out of the top five.
  2. Le Labo Santal 33 - Same
  3. Creed Aventus - Same.
  4. Arquiste Ella - love to see this here, and it deserves to be this high on the list.
  5. Creed Green Irish Tweed - also almost always in the top 5.
  6. Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme - this is new on the list, not sure why, but it is good to see one that's been around for a while that is great hit the list.
  7. Perfumer Guy Robert Selects Best Perfume Masterpieces 17-Sample Pack - Decided to add sample sets that make the list as well.
  8. Christian Dior La Collection Couturier Parfumeur - Fève Délicieuse - my favorite La Collection Dior as well.
  9. Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Chinchilla - new and so cozy.
  10. Frederic Malle Carnal Flower - another long-standing fave that had not gotten in the top 20 list for a while.  It is really lovely and one of my favorite tuberoses.
  11. JAR Ferme Tes Yeux - Ooookay.  I love it, it smells like barnyard on the open, but you won't care once you get past that part. I never know why one of the more difficult perfumes hit the list, but it makes me so happy when it happens.
  12. Neela Vermeire Creations Rahele - new, and a great osmanthus.
  13. Le Labo The Noir 29 - this has been making the list for a while now. This and Le Labo Santal will probably be here for a long while. It's weird not to have Rose 31 on the list.
  14. Hermes Terre D'Hermes - a long-time favorite everywhere, and it is really perfect to wear all the time.
  15. Hermes Galop d'Hermes - a new release from 2016 that will become one of the Hermes classics.
  16. Tom Ford Black Orchid - this has been a favorite of our customers for many years, and it is great to see it back in the Top 20.
  17. Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady - Yeah! I love this so hard, it s a great Malle, and if you're a guy looking at this and don't know, this is a rose fragrance made for, well, YOU!  It's not like anything you are expecting and better.
  18. Bvlgari Black - my old friend.  I've had this on every favorite list I've ever made, and it is great from beginning to end - a hot summer road, the smell of melting asphalt.  I mean that in a good way.
  19. Hiram Green Arbolé Arbolé - new release and I'm so glad it's on the list.  Hiram Green will be around for a long time, and the body of perfume work he is creating is great to watch.
