Xyrena is a compound of two terms - XY (the male and female chromosomes) and RENA (from the Latin word renascor which means "to be renewed or reborn). It also means “enchanter” in Old Greek. The company is certified 100% vegan and cruelty-free. They refer to themselves as olfactory rebels and welcome their customers to the "future of fragrance".
Xyrena, in association with Universal, presents Good Guy, the latest addition to the Cinematic Scent Archive™, and the first official scent inspired by everyone’s favorite killer doll. On the surface, Good Guy is a playfully sweet, fruity, toyetic fragrance — the olfactory equivalent of a Good Guy doll’s innocent facade. But beneath that sugary exterior lies a darkness drawn straight from the Lakeshore Stranger himself, Charles Lee Ray. The fragrance opens with an overdose of plasticky peach and lavender, transforms into a spicy heart of basil, black pepper, saffron, and cardamom, then settles into a base of rich tobacco, Damballa woods, doll-textile musk and melting polypropylene — an homage to the factory finale of Child’s Play 2. Building on Killian Wells’ legacy of hyper-realistic synthetic scents, the fragrance was created in collaboration with perfumer Harry Schreiner, pushing that DNA into a more unhinged, horror-driven direction tailored specifically to Chucky’s world. The result is pure nightmare fuel — a fusion of plastic-toy authenticity and masculine energy that’s as nostalgic as it is sexy, perfect for a date night with Tiffany, or any occasion where soul-transferring rituals might arise.
