Description

Amouage Jubilation XXV Man is one of the creations of Amouage artistic director, Christopher Chong.  Amouage Jubilation XXV Man was created to celebrate Amouage's 25th Anniversary.  Incense and wood done by Duchaufour.  All you need to know.  you want more?  Dark incense and woods, not like night dark, like mellow evening dark, warmed dark because you've got all these lovely spices floating around in the dark with you.  This is rich and elegant, and if you're a girl, give it to the guy in your life, but make sure to sneak some off to wear too!

Amouage Jubilation XXV Man Reviews

Fragrantica: "Each Amouage is a postcard from the Middle East, and Jubilation XXV catapults you to the throne of a royal palace, makes you feel like a sultan, is a scent for real kings."

Parfumo: "The fragrance is so complex and brilliant, that even upon first impression your mind is working to keep up with your nose; trying to accommodate the experience in its entirety without missing something. You feel a little bit of everything. There are warm spices, a bit of delicate fruit, some incense, a myriad of woods that never quite appear independently, but rather serve to support the other accords. It is truly a masterpiece of a blend."

Fragrantica: "It has great balance between fruit-fresh accords of Blackberries, Orange, and herbal Tarragon. Mixed with clean-crisp Frankincense, Labdanum and Myrrh to add the Oman influence. But this isn’t a smoke bomb as its rounded out by Honey, Spices, Cedar, and Ambergris. Excellent."

    Summer

To me the color was well chosen. Light. Golden. Honey. Though it has incense and spices, it shares the main space with a strong honey and clove note. There is a background cinnamon note. The sweet is a raw honey type of sweet which is not very sweet. Certainly nowhere near the super synthetic sweet of designer scents. There is something slightly sour in a good way about it. Well balanced by myrrh and maybe oakmoss and musk on bottom. I do not think this is a feminine scent. It has a density that leans strongly masculine. One of my fav Amouage scents thus far. Prob a good entry scent into this house.

    Very Good

I love this fragrance and if it wasn't so expensive I'd buy a bottle.

    A masterpiece

A complex incense masterpiece! Solidly unisex and well blended. Sillage and longevity are excellent. I receive compliments with each wearing.

a berry is a berry is a berry

I find this fragrance overwhelmingly fruity, berry-ish. Although there are other notes-- incense? saffron?-- I don't enjoy any of those side notes, and unfortunately the berries keep coming back. In the end it smells to me like a teenage girl trying out her first fragrance. And needless to say at this point, it is far too feminine for this man.

    Don't Believe the Hype

This cologne is o.k. Nothing to write home to mom about. And it's NOT a cologne that is UNforgettable. All I got was incense from this fragrance. I usually get comments daily on the fragrances I wear; but with this one, I didn't get any comments during the two days I sampled it.

    One of My Favorite Perfumes...Period

Masterful! This is a hot bubbling cauldron of berries and rose jam, crammed with vanilla, rum, chocolate, patchouli, incense, labdanum, creme brulee accord, tart red wine, and cedar. By the description, it sounds like it could be a mess, but this is beautifully blended and all the notes hang in balance. When it dries, it simplifies to a delicious oud-vetiver base.
