Description

Aiton’s Bloom is a gorgeous oriental floral fragrance that launched in 2026. It was created by Euan McCall and is part of the London collection, launched to celebrate the opening of the second Jorum Boutique in London. The collection was temporarily available worldwide at launch, but is now available exclusively in the London boutique. Aiton's Bloom is a floral composition named in honor of Scottish botanist William Aiton, first superintendent of Kew Botanical Gardens. The concept also reflects a personal link to perfumer Euan McCall’s family history, drawing a parallel with his grandfather, who was also a gardener from Hamilton, Scotland. The fragrance centers on a rich bouquet of white florals, combining almond blossom with jasmine grandiflorum, jasmine sambac, orange flower, and tuberose. These are supported by a soft, sensual base of ambergris, sandalwood, vanilla, and ambrette seed, which adds warmth and a subtle musky undertone to the luminous floral heart.Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. It features notes of almond blossom, jasmine sambac, tuberose, jasmine, ambergris, ambrette, orange, vanilla and sandalwood. Aiton’s Bloom is an extrait de parfum.

JORUM STUDIO AITON'S BLOOM REVIEWS

Fragrantica: “Might be my favourite from the London Collection so far? A white floral which navigates away from the higher, sharper, more “pissy” indolic connotations (which i personally have no problems with, but I’m aware they can be controversial on here) and instead presents the florals as this creamy, mellow, honey-nectar-dripping blossoming sunkissed thing. I was surprised that ylang ylang wasn’t a listed note because that’s almost how this translates to my nose, though I think it’s the combination of tuberose, vanilla and almond blossom working in tandem to create that effect. It feels rich, soft, sensuous, sticky, fanciful, playful. These flowers have powdery yellow pollen and an oozing hidden well of nectar tucked behind the petals. Leans quite close to the skin with just enough projection to catch an eye. A bright, sensual, unconventional floral.”

Fragrantica: “I tried the tester today in the Edinburgh store & brought a test strip home with me. This is such a pretty slightly honeyed white floral. Extremely smooth and creamy, the jasmine and tuberose are not screachy or indolic at all. Leans slightly feminine & quite an intimate scent.”
