LuckyScent: This has good performance, like a chypre or an oud, in that it's possible to apply an amount so that it's not overpowering but still lasts over time in a satisfying way. It's very satisfying. The initial impression is clean and I see what they are doing with the ocean mineral facets. As it settles it smells more green in a grassy sour way that's a little similar to marijuana but maybe more like seaweed. I like it a lot but am classifying it under more challenging perfumes since the dominant note is a unique kind of green.
LuckyScent: Love this fragrance…hard to pin point or compare. African soap was not anything I was familiar with, but took a chance. The dry down is lovely, clean and fresh with great staying power without overwhelming. I am always searching for a clean “soap” smell without the powdery finish and this offers a unique twist on a clean smell. Back to the office is not a concern with this fragrance.
Google: I have been looking for a fragrance like this for quite some time. Mami Wata has a clean aroma infused with South African green soap and mineral notes. Most mineral fragrances are either metallic or too sharp. This one leaves you feeling like you've just taken a lovely soak in a spa tub or a dip in the ocean, a blue-green ocean loaded with soothing mineral scents. Great for summer, and you don't have to be a surfer to enjoy this!
