Ormonde Jayne is a niche perfume shop based in London. The brainchild of Linda Pilkington, who is tiny and adorable and brilliant, the company was started by chance.  Interested in perfume since she was a teenager, she used to sell flowers on the roadside in England growing up.  Her hobbies were making scented candles and oil and cushions as gifts.

Her career has included running a boutique hotel, a bean farm and a chain for ice cream parlors, and in those settings she fell in love with heady, beautiful floral scents and explored oils and essences.

She returned home to England from her time in South America and launched her collection of perfumes, which were awarded the first prize for two consecutive years at the London trade show for style and innovation.

The Ormonde Jayne perfume shop opened officially on Old Bond Street in London in 2002.  Linda's meticulous attention to detail and perfection has kept this line of niche perfumes uncluttered and beautiful - from the philosophy to the packaging.  Sharing a similar or same base, they are unique luxury perfumes, using some unusual materials, like black hemlock and luxurious oils of frangipani, magnolia, sampaquita and orange flower.
