Dandelion is a floral fragrance that launched in 2024. It was created by classically trained British perfumer, Lyn Harris who trained in Paris and Robertet Grasse before starting her career working with many acclaimed brands. She was one of the first female master perfumers to break into the industry. Lyn Harris founded Miller Harris in 2000 as well as founding Perfumer H in 2015. The laboratory and shop of Perfumer H are located in Marylebone, London and here each person is able to see how the perfumer works and experience the working laboratory.
Inspired by Lyn Harris’s childhood, Dandelion captures the memory of long afternoons outdoors, blowing the seeds from the top of the green stalk and watching its cotton-white down dance on the wind. A youthful floral, fresh with possibility, Dandelion transports you to a place that is joyful and free. With notes of Sicilian lemon, Tunisian orange flower absolute, Italian mandarin, plum, Egyptian basil leaf, Iranian galbanum, cardamom, Haitian vetiver, sandalwood and musk. Fragrantica: I can't believe how accurate this perfume is. If you'd ask me to describe the smell of a dandelion I would have been lost, but this immediately transports you back to being a child, playing in the fields and taking in the aromatic and bitter scent of grass, weeds, and dandelions. One of the most vivid and original scents I've encountered in a while.
