The poetic softness of rose is reimagined in a sultry blend of peach and neroli, deepened with musk and cardamom to introduce a spiced provocation over a base of sandalwood and birch. Rose With Insect features notes of Calabrian bergamot, Italian mandarin, Tunisian neroli, peach, rose isolates, Indian cardamom, sandalwood, papyrus, birch and musk. It is a limited edition eau de parfum, edp.
It was created by classically trained British perfumer, Lyn Harris who trained in Paris and Robertet Grasse before starting her career working with many acclaimed brands. She was one of the first female master perfumers to break into the industry. Lyn Harris founded Miller Harris in 2000 as well as founding Perfumer H in 2015. The laboratory and shop of Perfumer H are located in Marylebone, London and here each person is able to see how the perfumer works and experience the working laboratory.

Fragrantica: "Blind buy and I am blown away by it. Rose with Insect is up there with my favourite Perfumer H scents, Wood Land, Charcoal, Inks, Steam, Charcoal & Pepper. I am not a rose scent lover but oddly Miller Harris Rose Silence was the start of my Lyn Harris fascination. I have since experienced every scent in Miller Harris Library and still own quite a few. The longevity of this scent is the biggest surprise, i can still smell it on myself 24hrs after application. My wife said it is a delicate scent on me but leaves a trail and is identifiable as a Perfumer H scent. She is yet to wear it herself. I don't have a great nose for notes i either like it, don't like it , love it, or loathe it. This is a love it: for its aroma, its uniqueness, its longevity, it sneaks up on you unexpectedly & you think what is that lovely aroma? oh its me. By ALL intents & purposes the perfume pyramid notes are not one i should like & there is where Rose with Insect totally surprised me. I am so glad it did & I wholly recommend this masterpiece.."
Fragrantica: "This is extremely dynamic. A blind buy, and I wasn’t too sure the first hour- I got a lot of watery neroli. I can see the comparison to Steamed Rainbow. The development and evolution of this scent throughout its wear is actually remarkable. I think the dry down is where the fragrance shines. It develops into a spiced, peachy rose that only catches you in wafts, and somehow becomes deeper and darker the longer it sits. Very unique and collectible indeed."
